P-40N P-11461 “Boss’s Hoss”, August 1944
This aircraft was flown by Lt. Colonel Reed, CO of the 7th FS, 3rd FG Composite Wing at Liangshan, China in August 1944. Reed finished the war with nine victories.
Actress Ann Sheridan signed her name on the nose of Boss’s Hoss and this is included as a decal.

P-40M A29-325, No.86 Squadron, late 1943.
A29-325 still wears its delivery scheme of US applied Medium Green and Dark Earth upper surfaces with a pale sky blue on the lower surfaces. Spinner appears to be Olive Drab. No.86 Squadron had a reputation for keeping its P-40s clean and well waxed for speed.

P-40N A29-572 was operated by No.78 Squadron on Noemfoor Island in late 1944.
The cowling with “Watch my form” has been photographed on more than one P-40 and has pale blue lower surfaces. A red “Lucky 13” was written as a temporary marking, possibly for one mission.
