Hello everyone,

We have now printed another batch of "Pacific Corsair - The Vought Corsair in New Zealand Service"

Pacific Corsair - book cover

"In the light of Japanese successes following the outbreak of war in the Pacific there was an urgent need to equip the Royal New Zealand Air Force with modern combat aircraft. But this was easier said than done.

Eventually the Royal New Zealand Air Force received 424 Corsairs under the Lease Lend program – the largest number of any aircraft type in the inventory of the RNZAF.

This book covers all aspects of the Corsairs service with the RNZAF; training, operational squadrons, the Servicing Units and post war service in Japan."

About the authors

Robert E Montgomery has recorded information about New Zealand World War Two aviation history since childhood. His father was Transport Officer with the 35th Battalion through the Solomon Islands Campaign.

David Duxbury is a leading expert on the RNZAF in the Pacific war.

134 pages 250 x 180mm, Soft cover, ISBN 978-0-9864653-2-1

Because the book is much heavier than the Classic Warbirds series we cannot mail it at "letter rate" to non-NZ addresses. Therfore the best deal for NZ and Australia based customers is our local TradeMe site ....

Trademe.co.nz listing

For North America, UK,  Europe and Asia the two options are our own web site or eBay,
